  1. Bigger stacks? I can’t imagine reading this many books in a week! I hope that you enjoy them all and have a great week ahead.

    1. Jodie, variations of your comment/question come up fairly regularly, and the short answer is that I don’t read this many books every week. For the past ten years I’ve been on a series of book award committees for the American Library Association, and I request books that might be considered by whichever committee I happen to be on. As the committee works through its list of possibilities, some things get struck off before I have to read them, some things turn out to be gems, and some win. I can’t discuss which books are which until after it’s all over, which will be at the end of the year.

  2. I can’t imagine how your book stacks could possibly get any bigger. I hope you enjoy all of these. I really want to read the Martha Wells.
