Fair warning, it’s looking a lot like the stacks are going to be getting bigger from here on out for a while. But the net will be cast wide over even more genres, so it should at least be interesting!

Bigger stacks? I can’t imagine reading this many books in a week! I hope that you enjoy them all and have a great week ahead.
Jodie, variations of your comment/question come up fairly regularly, and the short answer is that I don’t read this many books every week. For the past ten years I’ve been on a series of book award committees for the American Library Association, and I request books that might be considered by whichever committee I happen to be on. As the committee works through its list of possibilities, some things get struck off before I have to read them, some things turn out to be gems, and some win. I can’t discuss which books are which until after it’s all over, which will be at the end of the year.

Wow, you have a lot again this week! Hope you enjoy reading them and have a great week!
Next week is worse – or better – depending on how one feels about towering TBR piles. Have a great week yourself!

I can’t imagine how your book stacks could possibly get any bigger. I hope you enjoy all of these. I really want to read the Martha Wells.
I like having LOTS of choices, which often gets me into trouble. I’m looking forward to the Wells, too. It’s a reissue/update of one of her earlier works so it should be interesting to see how her style has evolved. And MURDERBOT WILL RETURN IN THE FALL!

Always glad to see someone else’s stacks. We all find stuff in each other’s piles that just looks too good to pass up. Welcome to the gang!

I love the sound of some of these, and if I’m honest some of these are just cover love! A Living Remedy I’ll have to take a peek.

I’m wondering about the sheep in Unraveling, myself. It will be an adventure!

Great line up of books. I haven’t heard of any of them. I hope you enjoy your reading. Have a great week!
I read some of Jane Yolen’s picture books as a kid and loved them. I’d be curious to read more of her stuff, but I haven’t gotten around to it.

We all need bigger and more effective ’round tuits’, don’t we? Yolen’s “circus” collections seem to be nice little bites of her work, not too big, not too small, but just right if you have a couple of hours for some reading pleasure!
