Winter Wishes Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Winter Wishes Giveaway Hop, hosted by Mama the Fox!

This hop kinda gives me the same vibes as last week’s Welcome Winter Giveaway Hop. Because I don’t exactly “welcome” winter. And my wish for it is to exit, stage right or left, as fast as it possibly can. My ideal weather progression would be for Fall to slide into Spring to slide into Fall again without stopping long – if at all – on those extremes called “Summer” and especially “Winter”.

BRRRRR! I say again. BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

So my wish for winter is that it be over, ASAP. What about you? Are you wishing for Winter to stick around a bit – or do you think it’s already worn out its welcome?

  3. I really like winter though I would love some snow and usually we have some by this time. It has not snowed, yet and it is the middle of January.

  7. We have had some pretty decent weather for winter but usually we end up paying for it by really getting a blast. Enjoying it for the most part.

  9. It’s actually not that bad this year … it’s been warm other than the week before Christmas.

  16. I am not loving winter this year, we haven’t received any snow at all and it has been warmer than average. In addition, I was diagnosed with COVID on December 16th so the holiday celebrations and visits with family that I so look forward to each year were cancelled for me. Pity party over, lol.

  21. I am a little tired of the rain but it is needed in California so I just am glad for that. Looking for warmer temperature though.

  29. Winter has been kinda mild so far. I’d rather it be winter than summertime because I’m in menopause and I appreciate the cooler weather! Thanks for the giveaway!

  30. I am so loving winter right now and pray for more rain and snow as we so need it in our area for fire season in the summer.

  33. I’m definitely over it! Luckily so far it’s been a pretty mild winter here in WI… Knock on wood.

  34. The rain will keep this part of Oregon green and hopefully fire-free. For that, I am okay with the gray skies.

  39. i would love if it would stick to a weather… one day its 55 and sunny the next is snow ans ice, then -10 then back to 50

  51. We’ve barely had any snow here in Michigan but the grey and dreary days need to go! We see the sun once every few weeks!

  60. I love winter because of the holidays. The holidays bring so much joy and quality time with my family.

  61. We haven’t had much of a winter. A couple of cold days, and a couple of dustings of snow. I’m okay with it!

  68. I’m definitely ready for spring weather because I don’t really like the cold, but time is going so fast I know it’ll be here before I know it.

  70. This winter hasn’t been bad weather-wise here on the coast of MD, so I’m sort of enjoying it. I like to “hibernate” during the winter, just taking time for myself. But come February, I’ll be ready for spring to come!

  76. I love winter (except for what the cold does to my joints). The snow–besides the mess–is always so pretty and magical, and I love snuggling up inside just enjoying a nice wintry day.

  79. In my town in Western New York we had 10 FEET of snow between 2 snowstorms in 1 month…including in a Blizzard I am SO ready for Spring, and for Winter to be over!

  82. I am very done with winter. It has been so cold this year without alot of sun so the snow has been on the roads and yard forever this year.

  84. I’m in Florida so no snow or very extreme temperatures here. I’m enjoying the mild weather.

  85. I’m okay with winter right now. We’ve had temperatures in the teens and twenties for a while and rain, but no snow. Our area usually doesn’t get any snow.

  91. I am done and it really has not been as cold or snowy as usual. It isn’t over though and last year in NY state we had a mid April snow storm that left us without power for 4 days,
