As I said in the intro paragraph for yesterday’s bloghop, I have the plague. So does Galen. It seems that our cautions and precautions work just fine in everyday life, but just didn’t stand up to being with approximately 14,000 of our friends and colleagues. I’m really glad I don’t even have to think about attending the midwinter conference, now known as LibLearnX. The Overachiever’s Book Club will meet over Zoom again and I’m much happier with that outcome.
I know this still looks like a pretty tall stack, but they are finally going down. While these all look fascinating, the one I’m anticipating the most is Blue Like Me by Aaron Philip Clark, the followup to last year’s compelling mystery, Under Color of Law.

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon. Right now I’m suffering from a very sore throat after going on a mini vacation – testing negative so far and I’ve been very careful but…. Great haul of books again! I received the American Roommate Experiment as well and looking forward to reading it. Take care and have a good week!

Hope you don’t get TOO sick with the plague! I recently read Under Color of Law and didn’t realize the sequel is out, so I’ll definitely look for that one. I also saw a blurb come thru my email on the Methos book, maybe I’ll take a look at that again. – Have a great reading week

Oh no s- so sorry to hear that! I hope things stay mild and you don’t have too much trouble with it.
The Guest House looks good to me and I have Eversion on my list. I’ll have to look at the Gillian McAllister since I read one of hers. I’ve been wanting to try that Maisie Dobbs series too…

Hope you feel better soon. At least you’ve got some great looking books to distract you, as long as you can concentrate on them.

Oh no! Hope you all have mild cases and get better soon. I’m excited for the new Samantha Young one, and the Season of Love looks good, I’ll have to make sure I have it on my Goodreads shelf. Have a good week, try to rest and just get better!
