Welcome to the Heart 2 Heart Giveaway Hop, hosted by Mama the Fox!

This isn’t exactly a Valentine’s Day hop, but it isn’t exactly not one either, as the next hop will start after the day. Which is a Monday this year. Hopefully it will make at least one Monday a bit less, well, Monday-ish. We’ll see.

I don’t know about you, but it still seems weird, odd, something, to go out to celebrate. And it’s a work night this year. We’ll do something. And put fresh flowers out on the enclosed back porch where the cats can see them but not EAT them. Which is best for everyone.

  13. I currently have no plans. Feb 14th is my Mom’s birthday. She’s no longer with us, but we learned never to celebrate her birthday on Feb 14th at a restaurant… waiting until another day – as they were always so busy.

  15. I think our plan this year will be a nice Valentine’s Day lunch, and a quiet evening at home.

  20. We don’t usually do much after almost 40 years together but we will acknowledge the day and say “I love you” just like every day.

  25. We don’t have any special plans for Valentine’s day. We will exchange gifts, and I’ll probably make a red themed dinner for my husband and daughter.

  37. My kids have dance class that night, so the hubby and I will probably pick up food and eat in the car with the toddler while we wait on them. I’m hoping to make a special meal or treat for my kids over the weekend.

  44. We will mark Valentine’s Day this year by having a special dinner with wine at home.

  47. I don’t have any particular plans for Valentine’s Day itself, but we are taking a small trip the following weekend with a special dinner out.

  48. I honestly never do anything special for Valentine’s Day. I will be doing one of the things I love doing the most which is spending time with my mom and my dogs.
