Today I have an extra special version of “how it started/how it’s going” because yesterday was George’s first gotchaversary. It’s been a whole year since we picked up the orange energy ball and OMG how he’s grown!
I just discovered, to my utter chagrin, that although I prepped yesterday’s Stacking the Shelves post I neglected to actually post it. Red-faced apologies all around.
Clearly George’s gotchaversary celebration got WAY out of hand!

That must’ve been one wild celebration! I’m not sure who is luckier, George or his servants, so congratulations to everyone.
The little ginger fuzzball really is all grown up. All of his markings, including on his face, are so pronounced now. Such a striking fellow.
Adopting George was absolutely the smartest thing we did during the pandemic. He’s been such a joy and so much comic relief. I don’t know where my head was yesterday but it was obviously somewhere else!
