I’m so happy I almost can’t stand it. I’m also equal amounts of tired. It feels like a weight has lifted and now I can relax. Once I get several naps in.
But I have books. Oodles and oodles of books. Life is good!

Nice haul, and thanks for introducing me to Miranda Chase! I’ve been looking for some female-fronted Tom Clancy type novels and she seems to fit the bill! The Quinn & Costa series looks interesting too.

The first Miranda book, Drone, is very Clancy, except with a female protagonist and a generally less purely male asshattery. The setup is still a bit Clancy but she’s become much more her own thing in a very good way. Also, she’s just plain damn good at her job and that’s just so great. The last few years have seriously called for competence porn and Miranda definitely fit right into that. Enjoy!
