Meowloween Giveaway Hop

I see the image for this hop every night. Those eyes are just like my Lucifer’s, and I get that slitty-eyed “stupid human” look every night right before he plops down between me and my book and starts to purr. He is the sweetest demon in the whole world. Just look at the face in the picture below. That’s my baby!

 

Our Lucifer is also a very lucky demon. He was rescued from living “rough” by a friend who couldn’t keep him, but we could. So he came to us when he was 6 years old, and he tells us just how grateful he is every night. Also, unlike many former ferals, he has zero desire to go outdoors. He doesn’t even approach the doors. Clearly he’s been there and done that and has no desire to do it again. And we’re all happy about that!

But Lucifer’s presence in our house is a living, breathing Halloween decoration. (So is Hecate, a mostly black tortoiseshell cat.) We regularly see both of them in that arched back position so common in Halloween decorations.

  17. I celebrate the Celtic Samhain (pronounced sow- as in the female pig -an) so it’s candles all the way to light up the darkness!

    Totally jealous that you have your own Halloween kitties (including ginger George).

  50. We change up our decorations each year, but we always try to go the spooky route. We do always seem to have a giant spiderweb though

  52. I’m not a Halloween fan. My favorites are the harvest type decorations such as hay bales, corn shocks, pumpkins(not carved) and mums.

  55. I love to have various candy displayed in different types of Halloween bowls around the house to snack on.

  57. I just really like to carve the pumpkins! We do it two or three different times every season, haha.

  58. I think that the Halloween projection effects that people put in their window are very neat.

  67. I like pumpkins because they can also be used for just general fall decoration all the way through to Thanksgiving.

  91. Bats! I still have a plastic (kind of realistic) one from when I was a kid. And I’m not too fond of spiders in real like, but I also have a supercool web plus spider 🙂

  105. My favorite Halloween Decorations are the skull solar lights- a string around front door looks pretty cool.

  116. My favorite type of Halloween decoration is the pumpkin we love carving them every year.

  128. I used to not like orange lights outside but for some reason I have really been into the orange and green lights!

  130. I love black cats as Halloween decorations because I have two black cat babies and I love seeing their representation !!
