I don’t know how lucky the leaves are at the moment. Depending on where you live, they are all either falling or have fallen. Except those pesky pine needles.

And if you are the person who has to rake all the leaves, you probably don’t think they are lucky at all. Especially around here right now. It’s been raining all week and all those fallen leaves are sopping wet. Too nasty to make piles out of for jumping into. That takes dry, crunchy leaves. Which we definitely don’t have at the moment.

Not that we can’t use the rain. But it does make the days a bit gloomy, especially as we wind up – or is it down – to the end of Daylight Saving Time over the weekend.

  3. I like being able to layer my clothing, and the weather especially–like being able to make bonfires at night.

  118. I love everything about fall. From the colors, the smell, the cool, sweater but not quite coat weather, halloween and all the bugs dying. Its my favorite season.
