Seas the Day Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Seas the Day Giveaway Hop, hosted by MamatheFox!

One can take the name of this blog hop as a play on the Latin phrase carpe diem, meaning seize the day. Or one could translate “seas the day” into Latin, making it maria diem and not a sentence at all. And of course I’m being just a bit silly.

I took four years of Latin in high school – occasionally I have to trot it out just for giggles.

But it’s summer, meaning that there are plenty of long, hot days to seize – just perfect for melting into a good book. Also just plain melting.

  4. My dream cruise destination isn’t so much a place as it is sailing with the Disney Cruise Line. Any of their itineraries would be work for me.

  130. I’VE NEVER considered a cruise so I’m not sure what you do on them… do you get a whole lot of time at the places you go to? I find that a week exploring isnt nearly enough time. I think I’d go anywhere that is more exotic then where I am now
