I could say that it was a weird week. I didn’t pick up many review books, and I didn’t buy anything from Amazon or Audible nor did I get anything from the library. On that oh so famous other hand, I did get eARCs for two books that I am really looking forward to – the next Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes book from Laurie R. King, and the next Psy-Changeling book from Nalini Singh. So I may not have gotten much, but what I did get is excellent!
For Review:
Blood Veil (Mission #2) by Megan Erickson
The Bookshop of Yesterdays by Amy Meyerson
Island of the Mad (Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes #15) by Laurie R. King
The Masterpiece by Fiona Davis
Obscura by Joe Hart
Ocean Light (Psy-Changeling #17) by Nalini Singh
Unmasked by the Marquess (Regency Imposters #1) by Cat Sebastian
Your hauls always amaze me! I do want to read Blood Veil since I enjoyed the first book in the series. I was really considering the new Cat Sebastian book as well as the Fiona Davis novel. Maybe I will get around to them someday. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

In the end, I find that I read about 50% of what I get. I always like to have LOTS of choices when it comes to picking my next read. This particular haul may be better than average, as I already have firm commitments for four of the seven, and I’m reading Ocean Light right now.

Great haul this week! Obscura, Island of the Mad, and The Masterpiece all sound fantastic!
Those are all new to me. I really need to start the Psy-Changeling series! Have a great week!
