We’re going to watch the eclipse tomorrow. We’ll be driving to someplace within the totality, meeting up with friends, and look at the moon while it swallows the sun. Yes, we have eclipse glasses.
As a public service announcement, let me state that while some, emphasis on SOME, public libraries did get free eclipse glasses to give away, if you’ve waited until today or tomorrow to get a pair for yourself, they are ALL OUT. They’ve been all out for weeks at this point. If you don’t have eclipse glasses, the American Astronomical Society has instructions on other methods for viewing the eclipse safely. Seeing is important, so don’t go out there and blind yourself!

I’ve LOVED every book in the series. I’m still so grateful to the person who introduced me to Gamache. And I can’t wait to start this one!

I’m liking the looks of both of these books. I was lucky and found some glasses at our local library. They had just got in an unexpected shipment while I was there asking about them. Enjoy the show:)

I’m glad you found some! Not every library chose to get the glasses in the first place, and most libraries that did ran out a while back, at least according to the ones I know on Facebook. And sometimes people aren’t all that polite when they hear that the library is out.
