I may end up wanting to set the assassins from Markswoman onto the protagonists of The Curious Affair of the Witch at the Wayside Cross. When I read the first Jesperson and Lane book, The Somnambulist and the Psychic Thief, I ended up infuriated. The premise had so much promise, but it failed so miserably in so many directions. This may be a “train-wreck” series for me. I just can’t turn my eyes away, at least not yet.
On that other hand, I’m glad to have one more collection of stories from P.D. James. I loved last year’s The Mistletoe Murder, but I didn’t expect to see more from the late, lamented Baroness James.
And is it just me, or is the cover of See What I Have Done more than a bit creepy?
For Review:

Markswoman (Asiana #1) by Rati Mehrotra
Sleep No More by P.D. James
Purchased from Amazon/Audible:
Apollo 8 by Jeffrey Kluger (audiobook)
The Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz (audiobook)
Borrowed from the Library:
Marlena by Julie Buntin
See What I Have Done by Sarah Schmidt
My mother’s always been fascinated/obsessed by the Apollo program, I must figure out if she knows that book! Looks like a good haul, as ever — I don’t know how you keep up.
Apollo 8 does look good. I’m listening to Magpie Murders right now, but that’s next.
In the end, I read about half what I get. But I really, really like having lots of choices!
