I wasn’t happy with a couple of the books I planned to read this week, which left me open to the blandishments of others. The grass is always greener inside the “other” book. Sometimes any other book. I was also caught up in a big book for a Library Journal review, which led me to a couple of other interesting possibilities. Certainly a mixed bag of a week. Especially since it seems like the publishers didn’t go back to posting at NetGalley and Edelweiss until Friday.
