I had originally planned to wait to get Apprentice in Death from the library, but I caught a cold. I wanted a book that I could get effortlessly lost in, and I finally stopped resisting temptation and just bought the damn thing. It was exactly what I needed. A good book cures all ills, or at least helps you to forget about them for a few hours!
