At the ALA Conference, I restrained myself. Even more than I usually do. After my surgery, I really wasn’t supposed to be carrying anything, and it just didn’t seem fair to make Galen tote around loads of books for me. So I tried to be good.
On the other hand, I loved Lyndsay Faye’s Dust and Shadow so much that when I saw her signing books I jumped into the line, even though I was pretty sure I had a copy of The Gods of Gotham lying around someplace and I had just gotten Seven for a Secret from NetGalley. I wanted a chance to tell her that I’m still recommending Dust and Shadow (Sherlock Holmes investigates Jack the Ripper!) to anyone who will listen.
And the fall books are starting to show up on NetGalley and Edelweiss. I’m afraid. I’m very afraid.

Holy wowzers this is a haul of epic!!
I have Charming on my TBA pile. I love Lady Emily and she just went on my wish list. I finished Tales From the SFR Brigade. Loved it and found some new authors while reading. I know about missing the cats. Now that I am home I don’t want to leave them again.
